This Privacy Policy explains how mrror collects and uses your personal data when you sign up for pre-registration updates at mrror.io.

We collect only your email address when you sign up on this page, along with a record confirming that this email address has passed our eligibility verification check (e.g. that it belongs to the required domain). We do not store any other personal information about you.

We process your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you submit it via the sign-up form. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see Section 7).

Your email address is stored with our hosting and infrastructure providers (currently Amazon Web Services, hosted in Ireland), who process it on our behalf strictly to provide storage and infrastructure services, under the terms of their standard data processing agreements. They do not use your data for their own purposes.

5. Where your data is stored

Your email address is stored on servers located in Ireland, within the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not transfer your data outside the EEA.

6. How long we keep it

If you sign up but do not go on to register for a full account when mrror.io launches, we will delete your email address by 31 December of the calendar year in which you signed up, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

If you do register for a full account, your data will from that point be governed by a separate privacy notice for registered users, which will be provided to you separately at the time of registration and which will set out different retention terms applicable to active accounts.
